So, here are a few photos to keep you company...

Yes, the water is cold. Yes, the weather (this day) was cloudy and cool. That doesn't matter if you're chasing waves!

Sing with me - "Let's go fly a kite..."

Fortunately, we're a family with engineers, hard workers and folks who like to think they know everything, so castle-making offered a role for everyone. Note MamaToo's freshly pedicured toes in the "project management" position...

It is simply not a vacation without s'mores. Beautiful sunset from the deck is optional, of course, but much appreciated.

It's a little overwhelming - the power, depth, and vastness of the ocean, and the oh-I-wish-I-could-freeze-this-moment-forever feeling of watching my boys explore.

There was some debate about east coast vs. west coast. I say I'd rather have sunsets like this every day. Mom & Dad think sunrises are beautiful to start the day. I countered: you have to wake up to see the sun rise. Ah, yes.

I would have to agree with Mamatoo. You can't really sit on a deck and have a beer or glass of wine and watch the sunrise. Unless of course your still there from the sunset, and you don't have to chase little ones around once the sun does come up!
ha ha ha... yes, Mr. Kenobi, good point.
