reuse comes before recycle

We all have them.  Little recyclable tubes from the center of toilet paper rolls.  I seem to have more of them than usual because Obi-2 enjoys pulling all of the TP off the roll and depositing it into the toilet.  Good times.

We also all have cords.  Lots and lots of cords, attached to lots and lots of appliances.  The straightening iron.  The curling iron.  The stand (or hand) mixer.  The computer you recently replaced and are waiting to set up for the kids.  Some organizer tips suggest tape, but that leaves a sticky mess when you want to use the appliance.  Some suggest twisty ties, but who has the long ones around when they need them?

Ah, but this is the organization tool that is always nearby.  I simply fold up the cord neatly, and slip it into a TP roll.  I started this trick when packing for our big move, which saved me from a tangled mess at arrival.  I have since kept it up with my stored appliances and random cords.  If you have an extra ethernet cord, bundle it up.  Same thing for the extra cell phone charger.  You can simply write directly on the roll for an easy label, so organizing is a snap.

Reduce, reuse, recycle, right?  Toilet Paper rolls is what works for me.  Have a great Wednesday and be sure to stop over here to see what works for others!
