Ben & Jerry's gives out free ice cream cones today. Frankly, I think it's to celebrate my son's birthday, but maybe they actually want to kick off the "ice cream season" (like it ever ended, right?!)
If you like ice cream, and you're willing to stand in a really really really long line with a lot of other people, go. Realize that some of the people in line with you also like ice cream (so make a friend! You have something in common!). Unfortunately, many are nearly-crazy moms who think this will be a "fun" outing for their child. If you're brave, go to Ben & Jerry's and enjoy.
If you like ice cream, but you're not a fan of lines, go to your nearest grocery store and pick up a pint (or, if you're sharing, a half-gallon) of your favorite, and eat up.
Think of Obi-2 & sing a little birthday song if you need an excuse to enjoy a treat. :)
